About this effort

Hampshire College is closing, and 250 staff and faculty are facing sudden job loss without severance pay.

Our Emergency Relief Fund continues to accept donations

  • This fund provides direct financial assistance for immediate needs such as housing, food, healthcare, and other essential expenses. Funds raised here will be distributed to affected workers based on need.

  • This initiative is being organized by Hampshire staff, faculty, alumni, and community members. It is independent, fast-moving, and focused on rapidly providing support to people. If you are able, please give!

We are working with a fiscal sponsor (Sundial Initiative Inc.) to securely receive donations and are building a process with community partners to distribute funds as quickly and fairly as possible. Working with a fiscal sponsor also means your donations are tax-deductible!
